My name is Marthaluz Velez, and I am a Colombian/American actor and singer currently based in NYC.

I received my BFA in musical theatre and dance minor in Western Carolina University’s School of Stage & Screen. My time in the smoky mountains of NC was dedicated to shaping my craft through participation in musicals, plays, films, readings, and new works.

The performing arts’ ability to open up hearts and minds by transporting an audience is my favorite source of magic. At the ripe age of seven, I informed my mother of my calling to become an actor and I never looked back.

This art form has taken me all around the US and to over 50 countries around the world. The more I explored, the more sense it made to become a certified travel advisor; another avenue in which I aim to expand dreamers’ ambition of adventure.
